DC Resident Honored by University of Maryland Global Campus with Executive Business Leader Award

Janet Dade Serves as a Vice President at the American Chemical Society

Adelphi, MD (10/17/2024) — Janet Dade, vice president of Washington IT at the American Chemical Society (ACS), has been honored by University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) with the Alumni Association's Executive Business Leader Award. Dade earned a Chief Information Officer Executive Certificate in 2008 and a Master of Science in Technology Management and Information Systems and Services in 2009.

Dade is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of extensive experience in the IT industry, consistently demonstrating visionary leadership and a commitment to technological innovation. Throughout her career, Ms. Dade has held pivotal roles that have enabled her to drive transformative change across various organizations, developing strategies that enhance operational efficiency, communication, and user experience.

In her current role at ACS, Ms. Dade leverages her expertise to support the organization's global membership of over 200,000 individuals.
